So Its Been Awhile

Quite frankly, I had forgotten I had signed up with this website so long ago. I recall the reasons I signed up, but those reasons were nothing more than a vague daydream of having something worthy reading to write and never really became fact. So here I am, once again, spewing forth nonsense and sometimes down right illiterate nothings about life. Like there aren't enough people out there already doing that. People who are more intelligent, more informed, more comical. Self-doubt is always a wonderful thing to face on a weary Wednesday afternoon, don't ya think?
I miss when "tab" actually made an indention on your new paragraph. Moving on. I have been searching for a while now for a website that would help me to figure out how to make cheap meals that are at the same time healthy for a large family. I am failing miserably in my quest. The government is so worried about this epidemic, obesity, yet does NOTHING to stop these food moguls from overpricing the healthy stuff & making the stuff they themselves wouldn't feed their dogs, available for the majority of your working class families. Thanks for that, Uncle Sam. If you're so worried about the obesity, do something besides allowing major food companies to buy your conscious with their donations to your campaign funds. I mean, I thought politicians got into government to help the little people. But then as soon as they get a taste of that power, the turn their backs for a chance to STAY in office, all in the pretense of helping the little guys. Really, we're probably better off without you in our corner. Once again, thanks.
So now I have this excessively large family. I'm not talking your average family of 4. I'm talking an extended family of 7, and that's only on the nights that my little brother has no company. But then you factor in the fact that both he & I could eat enough for 2, 3 on a good day, then that just adds more to the amount of food needed to satisfy this family. And again, my downfall. While I realize there are cheap meals to be made, most of them involve too many starches, too many carbohydrates, and too much fat to even consider. So I'm back to square one. We can't afford the extra 2 dollars for whole wheat noodles. We can barely afford the $3 a loaf for the good bread, and considering we can easily go through 3 loaves a week, then it just all adds up. And then the healthier yet more expensive lunch meat. The healthier yet more expensive cereal. The healthier yet more expensive... well, you get my point. So anyways, if you have any suggestions, I am as always, opened to hearing those suggestions. Please, someone..... have mercy.
